So the question becomes, how long can Thomas Jones keep this up? When does he give up his job, if ever, to Cedric Benson?
He has always been one fo those dual threat, receiving and running, guys so he is more likely to stay in on third downs. He averaged over 4.0 yards a carry last year with the bears and the year before that with the bucs. The bears play in a weak (both defensively and offensively) division, so he will get more opportunities. All of these factors seem to indicate he might be the sleeper pick of the draft.
10 Team, H2H, PPR Lineup: E. Manning - T. Romo W. Welker - R. Cobb - H. Nicks M. Forte - D. Sproles - CJ Spiller - S. Ridley J. Finley - K. Rudolph M. Bryant Arizona - Green Bay
KJ, if he can do what he did last year.
I like how Matt Jones is looking, though. He can play anything but offensive line. Hell, he could probably be a nickle back if his team was desperate.
Don't jump on the wagon too fast. I'm cautiously optimistic but he did nothing against Washington (31yds) and ran over a Detroit team that will get run over alot.
Don't be fooled if he does well against Cincy either. I hear the radio personalities jumping on the Cincy Def bandwagon. It's not that people can't run on Cincy, it's just that they haven't had enough attempts. Despite being currently ranked 9th in run defense, Cincy's rush per attempts are dead last at 5.4ypc.
In fact, next week might be a good time to unload Jones on someone. I think he'll be over 100 yards again this week. Although, then he is on his bye week. Hard to get rid of guys going into their bye week. Perhaps unload him going into week 5 or even wait until after the Cleveland game.
I personally am going to attempt to dump he and Hines or Jimmy Smith on someone who is hurting at back and receiver for an upgrade at RB.

The same thing happened to Thomas Jones at the beginning of last year. He was out like a house of fire, and then something happened. I can't remember what it was for sure. Did A-Train come back and eat into his carries?
Well, if that were the case, Benson could easily do the same thing this year. If the Bears are smart, they won't mess with success and leave Jones in there until he stops producing. Their division is pretty weak, and he should have a bunch of good games.

nope....Rex Grossman got hurt and people started stacking the box. If Orton can be efficient to keep people from doing that, the bears will run. My concern is that Benson got almost the same # of carries as Jones in that game. Will have to see how the carries are split up this week...I suspect that it will be a RBBC and who ever is rolling any particular week will get the majority of carries.
Julie is the best of the Joneses. His pass catching ability and burst added to the coaching tendencies of the Tune make Julie a top RB and a fantasy force.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?
