Who are the biggest risers and fallers in the first 2 weeks of the season and where would they go in a normal 12-team draft held today? Here are a few that come to mind and where I think they might go in a draft held this week. Thoughts on these players or any other big movers in the first 2 weeks of the season?
Risers:
Willie Parker - 4th round
Stephen Davis - 3rd round
Cadillac - late 2nd
Driver - 4th round
Fitzgerald - 4th round
LJ - 4th round
McMichael - 6th round
Housh - 6th round
Thomas Jones - 5th/6th
Fallers:
Culpepper - 5th round
Arrington - 10th or so
Jamal Lewis - 4th round
AJ - 7th/8th
Burleson - 6th/7th
Foster - 10th or so
Witten - 7th/8th
Rogers/Staley/Barlow/Benson/Dallas Clark/Bell - late rounds
Yeah, I have Holmes/DD/KJ/McGahee/Dillon/Manning as slight fallers. The thing is, if half the guys in the first 2 rounds have under-performed, none of them are really going to fall that far. I can't see any of these guys slipping more than a few picks. What do you think of the round values I assigned to the other big movers?
Its only been two weeks, I'm sure if drafts were redone the structure would not change as drastically as you suggested. Some of those you mentioned were influenced by factors such as defensive opposition, early season adjustment, and injury problems.

I agree here. Even with his bad start I don't see C-Pep fallin that far. Or a few others. Somebody would grab those guys. I would take Parker in the 3rd I believe though I haven't given it that much thought.

Fast Willie would probably see one of the highest increases in draft stock, although I'm not sure if owners are that certain of his job security throughout the year that they'd take him in the 4th. Culpepper would certainly fall, perhaps not to the 5th rd, but I'm not too optimistic about him and the Vikes.
If Parker was the for sure season long starter and had no threat of a TD vulture, he'd probably go mid to late 1st. If Bettis were healthy, Parker would probably be mid to late 2nd.
Palmer was available in the 9th round in my draft, he is bumped up!
