Does Arnaz Battle have fantasy value?

He catches the ball, makes runs, and had two throws in week one. I drafted Battle in the 26th round of my 8 person league to show ND some love, but does Arnaz have any serious fantasy value? We start two WR's and and WR/RB.

he has value as a no. 5 or 6. Could blossom at the end of the year I think. He's their best playmaker by far. Been tooting his horn all preseason, and i'm not about to give up now.

8 person league, 26 rounds of drafting, and you only start 2-3 WRs? I don't think he'll ever see the light of day in that league. Not sure if anyone drafted after the 10th round will ever start in that league

Im sure Willie Parker would.

I think Battle is worth a longshot if you have the room for him.

i know the qb situation looked bleak last week. but consider this, even with the relatively low amount of attempts Rattay had in week 1 battle was still targeted in a big percentage of those. Again last week, he caught ~1/3 of rattays completions. so even though we might not be scoring a lot of points, I think he could make a decent bye week fill in as I think he will get 4-5 receptions a game and around 50-60 yds a game.

So in point per reception leagues with 10 yds receiving, he will get you roughly 8-10 pts a game with the occasional TD. At the end of the year that puts him around 60 receptions perhaps and 700 yds. This isn't particularly great, but as a bye week filler I think you can almost guarantee this mediocre production.
