This site has the most player bashing I've ever seen. Manning sucks. TO sucks. Everyone is always jumping at the opportunity to whine about players, and for bs reasons, much of the time.

I think Benson is CLEARLY CORRECT. His presence means Jones has to bring his A game. He can not relax. Jones knows that his days are numbered if he doesn't put up the stats. It's NOT an issue if his backup is Adrian Peterson.

I don't think it's too cocky. And I don't think that anyone with the talent to go first round is LESS confident than Benson. And you all will be happy to draft Benson next year. Stop looking for excuses to whine and complain.

Yeah Everyone, after a whole month of being a member FatFoot's right. We should all only say nice things about all NFL Players. I mean, after all, it's not like Benson held out for damn near all of camp and only signed the deal he did because he realized the Bears were actually serious about not caving.

And TO is a by God paragon of virtue and sportsmanship.

I'd like to see a "Peyton Sucks" post. It would amuse me.

Do the people here gripe when a player they drafted in the first round stinks it up? Of Course. Do they gripe about their perceived shortcomings in regards to their favorite teams? Of Course. That's part of what the Cafe is about IMO. (I for one could launch into a diatribe about any number of players who are currently stinking up my rosters right now. You know who you are. <cough>Burleson!<cough> <cough>C-Mart!<cough>) Everyone here is entitled to their opinion.

T Jones had a great year last year before he got injured. He was my main "sleeper" and helped me get to the playoffs. Benson wasn't around then, so to say he helped T Jones step up his game is not really accurate. I don't think what he said is all that cocky, especially if they are both friendly to one another...he's just acknowledging that a new rookie running back can put some competitive pressure on a veteran.

I also had T. Jones last year and he put up decent #'s until the foot injury. I think he gets overlooked a lot because of the lack of offense Chicago has. I hope he can stay healthy this year and Orton can step it up a notch so the Bears can at least have a fighting chance at winning that division...at this point, they have as good a chance as anyone...the NFC North is like the NL West of Baseball!
