Ea Sports... What are they thinking?!?!?

Copy and Pasted from the rules of my EA Sports League:

League Rules state that "Matchup ties will be broken using the following sequence:
1. Total QB Points
2. Total RB Points
3. Total WR Points"

After last week's tie (98-98) between team "Lucky Charms" and team "Dark Side", the above formula was put into play.

1) The starting QB for Lucky Charms scored 23 and the starting QB for the Dark Side scored 12.

No need to go to step #2, right? LUCKY CHARMS WINS??? NO, APPARENTLY NOT!!!

Because according to EA Sports, TOTAL QB points refers to ALL of your QB's. The Dark Side carries two additional QB's on his BENCH while Lucky Charms only carries one. Is this fair??? Should you be rewarded for carrying extra QB's on your bench??? Why should they factor in at all in deciding a tie?

A ridiculous rule and now I am taking heat from my roommate (Dark Side) about his victory!!!

Chime in, I need to know what you think!!

Sounds like BS to me, the rule seems OK I guess but only when the playing field is even, they should drop his lowest guy to give each an equal shot.

Thats cheap. I would argue to EA sports, although ur probably not going to win.

Exactly!

It's a good rule if it's for starting players... but how can you reward a guy for carrying extra bench players. Makes no sense!

well its really your fault for not reading the rules. If you would have you would have known to have an extra qb. They might be bad rules but rules are rules. Miz well try and use them to your advantage.
