Brett Favre?? Will he still produce in fantasy?

Is Brett Favre still a top fantasy Qb or is the situation in GreenBay just to bad? Favre lost good offensive linemen in the off season. Now Walker and Franks are out. Can Favre still get it done in the fantasy world. Please leave your opinions

Favre has made many unknowns look good. That said, I think he is a matchup play at this point. Im sitting him this week against TB. He is still Favre though, always capable of putting up 300+ yds and 3+ TDs

From a Fantasy perspective Farve's situation is compelling (or fustrating), his team is much worse than it has been in recent years, which will make him a somewhat more inconsistent fantasy play. However, his team's woeful defense could raise his fantasy value because he'll have to chuck the ball down the field more than he used to.

That said, I think Farve is better than merely a "match-up" play, but he will be inconsistent. On the whole, I think he'll more good than bad. And he'll give fantasty owners a few very good games.

Eeech, this post is a little rambling, but I think I got my point across.

I think he'll produce. He's got to throw more which means more INT's but more TD's too IMO. Last year, Ferguson was #2 then Driver stepped up. Two year ago Walker was number 3 behind those two guys. I think any of the three will do fine and Favre will make one of them a pro-bowler this year.

I think Favre will be fine. I think going into the season he was ranked anywhere from 6-12 as far as QB's went & I still think he's right there.

He's more than a matchup play but with that said I'll probably sit him for Bledsoe this week.

I went against my own advice and sat Brett Favre against Cleveland last week as a "just in case" (I started Driver and wanted to diversfy). That decision single-handedly lost my game.

Now I'm bencing Favre this week against a formidable Tampa defense, but never again will I sit Favre when a "favorable" matchup is on the radar. Favre will get his until he retires from the league.. Guy is 36 years old but he can still run the 2 minute drill and hit the open man.
