What Positions Improve when a Team has a Better Defense?

Postby pmix » Thu Sep 04, 2003 9:12 am

With all the buzz about Buffalo's defense improving over last year, does this make Travis Henry that much more valuable? Or does everyone on the offensive side of the ball improve?

Is the theory to remember, Better Defense, More Stops, More Offensive Opprotunities?

The Luap Weasels
QB - Favre, Collins
RB - Henry, A Green, Barber, Hambrick
WR - Moulds, Horn, Driver, Kor Robinson, Ch Johnson
K - Wilkins
Def - Titans

IMO, a poor defense boosts the value of the teams QB and WR's as they have to play catchup all the time. And a good defense boosts the value of the teams RB's as it more often will have a lead and will be trying to control the clock.
