Give Out Your FF Gameball

Postby Guttpuppy » Sun Sep 29, 2002 9:02 pm

OK,my gameball this week goes to Mr. Underachiever Trent Green who for the 2nd week in a row, played a tough team and played well.He wins this one tho.Throwing for 300+ with 5 TDs & no picks. All this while sitting my bench.Congrats Trent, you got your job back.Whooda Thunkit!

Honorable Mention to Shaun Alexander. He's already got 100+ rushing & 90+ recieving in 1 half,he'll probably go over 100 in recieving also.he also now has 5 TDs.Wonder who had him benched this week?

Who gets your Gameball?Let us know!!!

NO CONTEST: SHAUN ALEXANDER right now it's not even halftime and he has 5 touchdowns..NO need to see any more of the game to give it to him.

Yeah,I drafted Alexander & have stuck with him,so this is nice. That's an online league tho and not as close to me as my 2 "friend" leagues. One of which I benched Green, got the win but I probably lost the points lead because of this.Giving him the Gameball kinda helps me deal knowing he will be there when I need him.

I feel like I should mention L.T. also.

Give the ball to Alexander, especially because a lot of people gave up on him.

i give it to tomlinson because he shredded a great defense and no one gave him a chance to do that. he single handedly carried his team to victory over the leagues best offense. he's my pick

Hold the votes!

Postby DraftDodger » Mon Sep 30, 2002 2:42 pm

I will hold my "vote" until after the Monday night game, but at this point I am leaning towards the Chargers Defense. Alexander, Tomlinson, and T. Green are all known talent. The Chargers D was a big question mark going up against my Pats, and they responded big time. Hats off to Marty (who I trashed in the Predictions forum) and the efforts of his team.

Tonight's game may be a breakout night for Clinton Portis.

An honorable mention from this weekend has to be Joey Harrington, who has been scoffed by experts and amateurs alike. He may not be worthy of this week's gameball, but another good outing could win him one.

My gameball goes to Ladainian Tomlinson, he ripped the Patriots defense and made them look like they were tripping over their jocks.
