My first ever sig.....what do you think?

All right, I'm so appreciative of the "real" graphics gurus on here and the help they've given, that I decided to give this a shot myself.

If it all worked out, it should show below. It is titled Mr. Jones, after my two young stud backs.

So be gentle on me (it's my first one). Am I starting in the right direction or should I take up another hobby?

QB - Plummer, Delhomme, Rothlisberger
RB - K Jones, J Jones, Benson, Gore, Toefield
WR - Burress, D Jackson, Housh, Bruce, Bryant
TE - McMichael, Watson
D - Pitt

your off on the right foot, not bad for a frst sig, but uh...what happened to KJ's left hand...

For the KJ part move him over to the right or find a better picture where his arm isnt cut off. Also this is just me but I think sigs usually look better more of a close up so the pictures stay pick so try maybe making the Jones RBs bigger

looks pretty solid for a first sig

the only things i would suggest are adding a border ( a black line would be enough) also i would move the word "jones up off the botton more...i dont really like words touching the edge of a sig.

This might sound dumb but deluxe, how do I add a border?

I'm using Photoshop but do not know it that well as yet.
