Maroney and the Gophers

Next 4 games: Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State.
Then... Indiana, Michigan State, Iowa.
The Big Ten is Very Solid throughout the conference this year. Thus, up for grabs. However, I see Minnesota probably dropping a couple of those games.
Nice to see Mason putting a very competative team on the field in his contract year. Gophers have been down too long. It took a while, but Mason's done a good job of rebuilding, and of course, Maroney is $$$.
Looking foward to the Wisconsin game. I'll be there sporting red, cheering on Calhoun and Co.

Whoever asked about Russel and his yrds/carry, I also heard the ESPN announcers say he gets about 10 yrds/carry. I believe at the time of the broadcast he had like a 9. something ratio, here's the updated data courtesy of ESPN.com

if you want him run you can tell he is going to be great but if he was in a bad system it is true that he wouldnt be putting up these kind of #s but very few can

Its to bad Minnesota's Defense didnt figure it out since anyone who follows the Gophers know that when they finally got down early in a game they would be toast. Hopefully they wont crumble like they had in previous years and can get this thing back on track.
