I posted this over on the Baseball site also but things aren't as busy as they are over here. This is my first go at Photoshop CS2 and really my first image editing software period. I wanted to fool around with many effects and see what happened. It isn't really what I wanted and I think the pics are kind of awkward. I was thinking of getting them out of the grain and putting them on top of the other team's names. Something to that effect. Anyway, I want to know what are the things I am missing.

It is a little hard for me to read some of the text cause it is small, but maybe it is my computer.. also I would agree with you and put the layers with the players above the "grain" effect
Very good for your first try though!!
Keep it up and keep us updated with your progress

I made some changes. It is still hard to read the names of the other teams, but I think the people in my league would be able to, because they would recognize them. I made pics a little larger, did away with the grain. I think this might be an improvement. I need help with a border, I believe.
