Believe it or not, the team in question actually did WORSE than .333, despite outscoring its opponents.

The Raiders and 9ers are both good calls, though. They tied for the third place. Second place belongs to the 2001 SD Chargers (5-11, .313, 332 points for, 321 points against).

Somebody has yet to guess the team with the questionable honor of having the worst record with a favorable points for/points against margin.

We have a winner. It was, as you all should have guessed , the ever-inept Bungles.

The 1971 Bungles went 4-10 (a .286 win percentage), despite outscoring their opponents 284 to 265.

I actually know nothing about football prior to the AFL, other than the little Phil-Pitt Steagles and Card-Pitt stuff (which I think the funniest chapter in NFL history).
