Kind of ironic since Bledsoe is thriving in Dallas.

That's interesting, as I'd think its david carr. Dude has shown flashes, and absolute horrendous play.

Joey may not be the worst, but definitly the most inconsistient. He could thread the needle, and then throw a duck. But yeah hes pretty bad.

I seem to recall another QB having an awful first 6 or 7 games in his first starts after riding the pine his rookie year. Oh yeah, Carson Palmer.

Comparing him to Palmer is a complete joke ..

Yeah, I wouldn't compare him to Palmer either. More like Steve Young.

Stop crying. Really, stop. I can back this up.

Steve Young's first five games with Tampa after leaving the USFL in the middle of the 1985 season?

72/138, 985 yards, 3 TDs, 8 INT

Wow, those are great number, eh? That's a whopping 65.5 passer rating. Losman's? 60 flat.

My point?

Don't Say Rookies Suck After 3 Games.

Hmm, let's review:

Palmer:
- Sat on the bench his rookie year while his team narrowly missed the playoffs
- Was awarded job to begin his 2nd year, no QB contraversy
- 67.3 QB rating after first 3 games
- 2 TDs, 6 turnovers, and 10 sacks after 3 games

Losman
- Sat on the bench his rookie year while his team narrowly missed the playoffs
- Was awarded job to begin his 2nd year, no QB contraversy
- 61 QB rating after first 3 games
- 1 TD, 2 turnovers, and 7 sacks after 3 games

If anything Losman is ahead of the curve for a rookie QB. Seeing how Palmer faired with a better offense around him than Losman has, it's easy to conclude that Losman is doing just fine for a rookie. Their careers so far are very comparable, and will become even more comparable when the Bills don't make the playoffs (sorry Bills fans, but SD, Cincy, and the Jags all have much better shots).

So, in conclusion, no, it's not a joke, its a very accurate comparison. People started calling for Carson Palmer's head last season too, but those fans would probably prefer if we forget how impatient they were in forgetting they're sacrificing a season to develop a franchise QB.

The palmer thing is a good argument but I'm about to start calling for his head. I know he is a rookie but man, he looks bad. He is missing guys by a long shot, and i'm talking 8 yard outs.
I realize he doesn't have much time and it is hard to be composed in the pocket when you have 3 guys in your face after 2.5 seconds but he missed a WIDE OPEN Eric Moulds when he had good time and even stepped up in the pocket. I would think Moulds would have been his 1st or 2nd read. He ended up throwing it to a TE about 5 yards away with a guy right on the TE's back.
He is starting to aggravate me. But I will be patient......
