The good news is that Seattle is giving up 108 rushing yards per game.... The bad news is that they have only allowed 1 rushing TD all year....

I'm gonna say Portis goes for 120 and no score.....

I bought into all the info coming out of the Redskin camp about getting portis involved using screenplays or stretching the play to the outside similar to what they do for Edge or LT. That does not seem to be the case in the much of the games I have watched this year. Joe Gibbs still has a very Vanilla offense, and they still run between the tackles. I know Gibbs is still a god to some people, but he is stuck in the 80's, and the game has clearly passed him by. "I believe portis is a very talented back", "but they simply do not utilize him properly" .

small point of contention....

of the 326 yards given up on the ground by the Hawks....120 of them were by QB's and WR's

Portis is easily the best back Seattle has faced this year, but if the Hawks can generate an early lead....over a hundred yards rushing may be a bit of a stretch
