I think Steve Smith can be mentioned with CJ any day of the week just like Harrison can. I dont think you can mention the same talent that CJ has though compared to Moss/Owens. Moss/Owens are in a league of there own. Steve in any arguement can be posted with the top 5. I alos think he can be in the top 5 because he doesnt have the likes of people like Manning, McNabb, Palmer, or CUlpooper do. I hate to break it to ya but Jake Delhomey isnt the best delivery guy ....I like him and all but dang Smith does make him look good.

I think its just that even top WRs are flaky. It comes down to really that on average a #1 WR does not put up more TDs or more yards than featured RBs. This is why its always better to have a steller backfield in fantasy football than WRs. Just on sheer amount of opportunities, featured RBs are almost certain to never have a dud game like WRs. I mean even top WRs get 6-12 touches a game, top RBs get 20+ easy.

You have to expect that even your top 10 WRs are going to have some flakiness. It happens, it's the nature of their position.

Steve Smith is seeing like 70% of the WR receptions on his team right now. That pace just cannot continue, huge sell high candidate right now IMO. I would take Harrison for him in a second. Before last night, Keary Colbert was the 2nd leading WR on the team with TWO receptions. TWO freaking receptions!

Fantasy-wise, I have no problem with talking about Steve Smith in the same discussion with CJ or any of the big 5.

In real life talent, I do believe that CJ has more ability than Steve Smith.

12 yards

I rest my case
People have bad games...Chad johnson has had bad games. You can't base your case on one game cause then Ill give you this. 3 tds one game and 170 yards. There Chad Johnson hasn't done that this year. I mean you can't say he is bad because Delhomme spread out the ball. I think Steve Smith is in the top 10, but the top 10 WR's are interchangeable IMO. ;-D
Keep it lit.

Steve Smith is an outright stud, however...

He's a notch below Moss. TO, CJ, Holt.

And he's got company in that tier. Which is why I traded him last week for DJax AND Deshaun Foster.

DJax is right there w/ SS if not a sliver above, IMHO.
I hate LJ Smith!
