Of the many ways Dorsey Levens envisioned spending his first season with the Giants, playing running back on the scout team was not among them. Neither was being the backup's backup. Upon learning Monday he is buried on the depth chart, Levens -- a 10-year veteran who has won a Super Bowl and been to the Pro Bowl -- asked for his release.
