Most annoying thing about the NFL?

Let me start by saying that I love the NFL and I love fantasy football.

But what irks me is this "instant star" mentality that announcers and analysts make out of some of these guys. Today, many NFL players don't have to prove themselves over 4-5 seasons, they can have 2 good weeks and the next thing you know there is All-Pro and Hall of Fame talk.

For instance, with all the coverage of Willie Parker before week 3 you would think he was the next coming of Walter Payton. OK, Parker has had two good games. Maybe he will be an awesome player, who knows. But two good games does not equal superstar. Heck, not even two good full seasons equals superstar in my book. I haven't heard jack about Parker since his mediocre performance in week 3.

Same with Javon Walker. The guy is talented but has produced at an elite level for one freaking year. He had a great year last year, no doubt. Next thing you know he is the next Jerry Rice.

Ok, I'm done. Just needed to get that off my chest. Thoughts?

One of the things that bother me the most is the fat coaches thing. I mean come on they have world-class facilities at any given point in the NFL season, why cant they use the equipment? Just errks me man seriously.

Andy Reid is sexy compared to Joe Theismann. The thing I hate most about the NFL is that they feel we need analysis on things we are already seeing with our own eyes.

I hate the the inability of the N.F.L. to change the idiot the whistle blew it dead rule. A perfect example was last weeks Greenbay game in which the ball clearly slipped out of Griese's hand, and was recovered by the Packers, but because some ref blew a stinking whistle the only challenge by the packers was the spot of the ball, and no change of posession. The call on the field was the ball was fumbled but the rules are the rules. If you are going to have instant replay make the correct call. { This May have cost the Packer's the game.}

Every team should have to have one fat cheerleader. I mean, it's discrimination right? You have to interview 8 African-American head coaches before you hire someone (what a joke that is, like it's really going to help), so why is discrimination tolerated elsewhere? Besides, it would be really funny to watch.

I hate commercial breaks at 2:01 and then at the 2:00 whistle and i also hate cheap pass interference calls.
