I'm a huge fan of Lost. I'm been addicted completely to that show since I think the 3rd or 4th episode where they did the first flashback of Locke's life.
I just wish I had Tivo or something to go back through and examine those little connections they keep leaving around. Especially in the hatch, there were those colored figurines that I'm sure symbolize something.
Although something I'm wondering, everyone knows about "the numbers" but has the number 108 shown up in the series before? The timer in the hatch reset to that, and sure enough the sum of the "the numbers" is 108.

Not much mentions the 108 except that is in the addition on the numbers. I found This link and am amazed at some of the connections. I have not looked to much at the site for other information but I am sure there is good stuff.

I have never seen the number 108 in the previous episodes, but again i wasnt really looking for 108 either.
The box set DVD of the first season would be a great addition it seems to go over everything to catch the hidden clues throughout the show.

Disappointment wasn't the word I was thinking of, maddening was more like it. It took 50 freaking minutes to get back to where we left off last week. I like Lost as much as the next guy, but that was a joke last night.
The numbers that were typed into the computer were the same numbers as on the hatch and were the same numbers that the big dude told Jack that he won the lottery with. I've got to read the website.
I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me.

We get to see "The others" right..
not necessarily. just becasue jin was yelling "others" doesnt mean that they are "THE" others. he could be mistaken or using the incorrect wording (he does not speak english after all. ) some people believe that they are the people from the tail section of the plane but in a more savage frame of mind.
besides we have most likely encountered the others already in the guys on the boat that took walt. its not the first time they have taken a child from someone on the island and that was used as a reference of who the others were.
course who knows for sure.
disclaimer: these are not my theories per se. we have a thread going on on the baseball side where most of this stuff is being disected .

Agreed completely. I don't get super into many shows, I can only really get deep into a show if it's both a great show and the music is put together with it perfectly, which means I'm totally addicted to Lost.

Here's one that I haven't seen mentioned in this thread. [SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE SECOND EPISODE OF SEASON 2 YET]. Notice the fin on the shart that attacked Michael and Sawyer? It had the same logo on it as those on the supplies in the hatch.
