I picked him up off of waivers, and I'm thinking about trading him. I also have Priest and Rudi, but this is not a "should I trade" post...

I don't think that hes worth the risk personally. I think he might be productive, or it might be short lived but I would sell him high and let someone else deal with the stress.
I reckon he'll get hurt at some point. Trading him now before something bad happens isn't a bad idea, but after having such a horrible week this past week, you may want to consider moving him soon.
He won't get much in yards but he will score a bunch as long as he's healthy. He scored 4 times in the first 2 weeks and in week 3 they gave him the ball twice at the goalline but he didn't get in so the threw to Smith.
This Monday he should have a pair of scores. If I were you, unless someone is offering you real value, wait a couple weeks. Carolina plays GB, Ari, Det next so his value should only go up. Of course alot depends on your scoring system, in system's that reward heavily for TD's he would be top 12 RB in my book. I could see him finishing the year (if healthy) with 1100 yards and 14 TD's.
I just traded him away for Fast Willie and Reggie Wayne because I really needed a WR.
thanks guys. I kinda feel like he's a sell high guy too.

Well, I drafted him very late in my keeper league, so if he tanks, I personally couldn't care less. The Panthers should run plenty, obviously Delhomme has his you know what lodged in Smith's rear end, so if he's healthy he is worth having. I am personally sitting KJ and Mike Anderson (both of whom have poor matchups) as well as Mewelde Moore in favor of Stephen Davis.
