How about Brandon Jones?

Postby emteesee » Thu Sep 29, 2005 6:41 pm

Read an article by Tony Finn touting this guy for some reason. Bennett and the fact that the Titans love their TE's made me wonder why. Looked him up and doesn't seem to be anything too special. Anyone out there have an opinion on this guy?

I was thinking about picking him and asked some questions about him myself. From my understanding he has taken the number two spot from Calico.

i go to OU and bjones used to be the deep threat for us...but then mark bradley came on and took over that. jones has good speed and decent hands. i don't think he's a candidate for a breakout season or anything this year. he needs some time to develop. i'm not sure his speed is all that great at the nfl level. it's certainly not elite speed like bradley's...but he's still a good over the top target. unless your league is really really deep, there should be better options out there. like you said tennessee really loves the tight ends, and they seem to get the most looks. and i do believe you are right that he took over the #2 spot from calico. he may have a couple of good games, but i think overall he will be very, very inconsistent.
