Big Trade - 3 for 3 - Is it worth it?

Postby bzabodyn » Tue Oct 01, 2002 2:20 pm

Right now this is my roster:
QB: Garcia, B. Johnson
RB: S. Alexander, T. Henry, M. Shipp, B. Westbrook
WR: Tim Brown, I. Bruce, Kev. Johnson, J. Thrash, J. Pathon

I have been offered:

Bennett, Michael MIN RB
Portis, Clinton DEN RB
Johnson, Keyshawn TBB WR

for
Shipp, Marcel ARI RB
Brown, Tim OAK WR
Bruce, Isaac STL WR

We are in a salary cap league and this is one of the few trades I can actually perform (w/in the cap) - should I pull the trigger? I need the depth at RB and it's Alexander's bye week....Thanks

Seems like you're giving up alot of good WR's to me. I can't stand Key in return. Any other WR he could give you instead?

He has Moulds, but I don't think he'll go for that - He also has Fred Taylor - would it be better if I offered him Brown and Bruce for Taylor and Keyshawn...

no do not do this trade, you would be getting 2 backs that arent even full-time starters and a big fantasy bust in keyshawn. keep what you have or look for a better deal elsewhere. the second trade would be worth consideration if only you could get a different reciever than keyshawn.
