Start Jamal Lewis

Postby bagobonez » Sun Oct 02, 2005 10:59 am

I can see this guy having an outstanding game today. He's healthy after the bye week, the Ravens are going to start using I-formation more often, and they play the Jets who have been giving up quite a bit of real estate on the ground.

Also, the Jets are without Pennington, so Brooks BOllinger gets to go up against the Ravens' D. The Ravens are going to have field position all day long and are going to run, run, run the ball with Boller being injured.

I know Jamal's been disappointing so far, but if you don't start him today, YOU will be disappointed.

What about the illness he suffered on Friday?

Or the fact that the fullback that they planned on using restrained his calf muscle and is questionable?

I plan on starting him anyways just because I think he has a good chance at having a stellar game..Fullback or no fullback.

I'm gonna go with you on this one :-D The last thing I want is for Jamal to kill it and to see those stats go to waste on my bench.

I'm starting him over Tiki Barber (vs. STL)!

I don't know about starting him over Tiki (unless its 20 yard per point, then I understand), but I agree, Jamal should come back to a sort of norm. 100 total yards and a TD should be well within reach.

I think the Jets are gunna get rocked! They are playing the best Def. ni the league, and their offesense is just gunna get smashed, leaving their Def. on the field for the most part. Which means they will geet tired, and if Baltimore gets off to an early lead, Jamal will have big yardage. ;-D
Keep it lit.

Hes sick and Ricard, his fullback, is hurt once again. That is one of the reasons Lewis has cited for his struggles. I'd lay off.

80 yards and a TD. Not too shabby.

80 with a TD would've been acceptable, but with the fumble, it's somewhat of a dissappointment still. He's still not an automatic starter in my book.
