Galloway: is he for real?

Postby fatnub2339 » Sun Oct 02, 2005 4:30 pm

Another monster game for Joey Galloway today.. He's been very efficient each week while Clayton has looked invisible.. I for one think that this trend will continue and Galloway will be this year's Drew Bennet or S. Moss or w/e you wanna call it.

Comments/thoughts?

i don't know that its his coming out since he has been a top reciever in the past. I doubt he keeps getting all the redzone looks but he will have a good year

Galloway is Griese's main man.

This just cannot keep up, can it? This whole transformation back to the mid 90s w/ WRs such as Galloway and J. Smith has got to stop! I just can't see Clayton getting 10 yards each game, I expect him to come around very soon and see Galloway regress because of it.

How can you not be for real after having that kind of game? :-?

Seriously, he has over 300 yards and 3 TD's after 4 games. For Real.

He's for real, but when all is said and done (years end), probably about that 20-25 area as far as WRs. Okay #2, great #3.
He probably will drop off a little (remember the Bucs have faced 3 NFC North teams the past four weeks), but he's got a nice rapor going with Griese, and could continue to outperform expectations.
Got him myself on waivers yesterday, shoulda started him. ;-)

I think that the production will flatten out because the way it's going they've shut Clayton down but left Galloway open. So I think it'll even out and you might see production from both of them soon. One will have a big game one week then a big game the next for the other. That's what I think will happen... well hopefully for my sake since I have Clayton ;-D
