I think the situation is too simple to say that L. Johnson now "sucks" and that his seven (?) straight games with two touchdowns or more was just a consistently great performance by proven sucky player.![]()
And, we should remember that LJ only gets the ball around 10 times a game; this does not allow for a great margin of error. Thus his mistakes will tend to be magnified.
Don't get me wrong -- I'm not an LJ apologist; I'm just trying to put his recent slump into perspective.
It was 6 games, but yeah, most starting RBs right now can't say that for themselves.
