New England D lays Brontosaurus egg

Sweet Jesus.

I have this squad and they just ain't cutting it in a competitive league. And I don't see them getting too mucj better.

This Frisco defense is still on my WW and even tho their schedule looks tough down the road I think I want them.

I have Seattle and NE Ds. Should I cut one for Frisco?

Definately not, I wouldn't go with SF D at all. They are the 32nd (LAST!) rated D in overall defense. I think there's a reason they're on the WW. But I wouldn't put NE on the shelf because of this game. They played a good Offense in SD and they were a top 10 D before this game. I just don't think it hurts them as much. I'm sure it was tough to swallow negative points.

I definitely wasn't expecting the Chargers offense to overpower the Pats D. I thought for sure the Pats would win a boring game, where Brees turned the ball over. Perhaps I've been under-estimating this offense.

Of course, I only see these Ds in a fantasy style. When SF has like 60+ points tomorrow and NE has about 28...the truth hurts. In my league SF kicks NE ass.

But I must be patient. If they only got 8 points today I would be 3-1.

They've been missing Bruschi, and the loss of Rodney Harrison only compounds it. They're down the top two defensive playmakers in their organization, and while I don't expect goose-eggs, they are a matchup defense this year, and will have several more tough opponents to test them.

well, they lost Law in the off-season. Brusci and Rodney Harrison. That is not easy to replace.

I actually see some more struggles from NE and they won't be a consistant fantasy D

The Pats defense most definitely didn't get it done, but more importantly, the offense didn't get it done either, specifically in the second half! NE's running game didn't even amass 100 yds on the ground...there was no control of the clock: SD-36:38, NE-23:22.

I'm still reeling from this win.....craziness!
Doesn't it suck to get beat at Fantasy Football...by a girl?
