Ok, well I think I'm funny... maybe nobody else does... I can live with that. It was a choice between Graham and Rackers and I took Graham because I would be assured of some points.

I wouldn't get too carried away.
#1- yesterday's game was at 7000 feet elevation- conducive to kickers
#2- he is a kicker!

dude, don't gimme some bullcrap about elevation, he has no problem with distance, and elevation doesn't affect accuracy. I seem like the least enthused of anyone, which gives me hope that I could trade him.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks!

I love Rackers, and thought he was going to be a good fantasy player this year, and I'm not saying he wont be... but that talk about elevation is no joke. He wouldnt ususally be able to kick the ball out of the endzone like that, and it does help with accuracy on long kicks. If you dont have to kick the ball as hard, you can be more accurate.

Still, he is a very good kicker and will be a top 5 kicker this year. Just dont give up the farm trying to trade for a kicker.

while i do agree about the elevation he was 5-6 from 50 + last year at home. of course hes not gonna kick it 80 plus every kickoff but that not really a concern. he kicked all of his fieldgoals last night from under 50 yards. do i think he is gonna put up 20 a week? of course not. but its not like he's some kind of fluke. he booted them last year and will do so this year.

I picked Rackers up to fill in for J. Reed's bye, but after looking at his schedule I'm going to stick with him the rest of the way.

Come playoff time, he's got a couple a dome games and sunny Arizona to kick in.

Reed will be kicking in the frozen tundra of Hines field or any of those other outdoor AFC stadiums.
