Newman catches Moss what a joke

Moss held out of the endzone two weeks in a row. How did Newan chase down Moss and stop what should of been a sure TD?

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw Moss haul down that long bomb.

I can't remember when the last time someone ran down Moss in the open field.

I wouldn't call him a joke or anything like that. Obviously teams are trying to stop Moss from getting that deep TD. He's still putting up great numbers, the TDs will follow.

Just thought it was strange that he got caught from behind.

T. Newman is very fast. He would be an olympic sprinter if he didn't play football.

Moss was probably not going 100% as he figured no one would be able to catch him.

Just seems like one of those "Moss not trying" things. Because he's supposed to be one of the fastest guys in the league. That's why he can break away so well but the 100% thing has always been a problem.

That lack of trying has put me in a very deep hole tonite with Carolina's D needing 14 points just to get me a tie! :-# Moss could've just run that one like he stole it and I'd feel alot better about this. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I saw how quickly he closed on him. Collins needs to slap the lazy off of him.

I believe we had a duscussion in the Cafe a year or two ago and established that Santana Moss was faster (he owns the Big East indoor track record at 60m). As is Tim Dwight and Michael Bennett. And now Newman? Randy's been slacking off on his off-season workouts.

But nobody in the NFL today could touch Ron Brown, Willie Gault, or Ronaldo Nehemiah.

Santana is crazy fast, but don't forget his trade partner Laveranues Coles. Dude had one of the fastest combine times I've ever seen. The toe is probably holding him back.
