Where OH Where has Gonzo Gone??

Postby Daddymike59 » Mon Oct 03, 2005 9:43 am

Can anyone explain the lack of producion here or is he past his playing prime?? I really need his points. There aren't big numbers coming from any t/e's right now(Gates being exception I guess) But how long do I keep plugging him in?

I am holding out hope that when Roaf is healthy again they will have time to get Gonzo the ball. Though it doesn't help when teams are putting their best cover man on him and Samie Parker keeps dropping balls either.

Gonzo seems to be blocking more. And getting abused I might add. Kearse worked him over from what I saw of the game.

McMike has been consistent with TDs, he's probably the no. 1 TE right now in most leagues even with the bye week. you keep playing gonzo I think as long as there aren't many TEs doing anything.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks!

this is a big reason especially in the last 2 weeks. without roaf on the line there is a big whole as jordan black has shown he cant handle a quick rusher. there was a lot of movement yesterday to try to show the dline different looks and people and for the most part it worked (atleast alot better than the denver game). he seemed to be really frustrated at the end of yesterdays game and id look for better prdouction starting week 6 when the line is completely back to the way it should have been. even still gonzo is a guy who will have huge games and then have mediocre games as well.
