I was called stupid when I traded him for S. Jackson straight up preseason. I know Jackson's situation isn't much better, but at least he has found the endzone 3 times.

It was tough watching the offense (C. Mart) try to get it in from the 1 after the Jets' defense intercepted it and placed it at the goal line. Note to Jets D....SCORE on those INT's...now you know that your offense can't!

I have no problem with people pointing out that C-Mart is not the value he was last year. I do object to the assumption that it's his age. His injury, one could argue, is partly to do with his age. But one could just as easily argue that it's not. And it's not clear to me that that Week 2 injury has had anything to do with his less than stellar Weeks 3 and 4 performances. The Jets general offensive struggles are much closer in my mind to being the real reason.

C-Mart could bounce back somewhat with Vinny at the helm. And he could have a monster season next year with Chad or anyone else decent at QB.

Dont sell low unless your forced too, hold onto him and wait until he has more than a better week and get rid of him asap.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but didn't C. Mart only score a couple TD's in 2003. I remember bumping him down quite a bit on my cheatsheets because of his '03 numbers. I rarely look back two years with running backs, but I do with veterans like C. Mart (and I know this hurt me with T. Barber).

Martin's 03 numbers dipped so dramatically because his quarterback was Vinny for much of the year.

Guess that won't make Martin owners feel much better. I own him too, so I feel the pain.
