Kurt Warner's head

Postby jebatzel » Sun Sep 07, 2003 8:32 pm

"Kurt Warner - QB - St. Louis Rams Sep 7

Kurt Warner suffered a concussion today and is expected to be hospitalized overnight.
The Rams think the injury might have occurred in the first quarter, which would explain his fumbling problems. Team physician Dr. Bernard Garfinkel said the concussion was ''mild to moderate.'' If he's correct, that Warner shouldn't miss more than one game and could be available next week. " http://www.rotoworld.com

that explains things a little.

I'm surprised Warner got the concussion. I would think there would have been enough padding provided by his butt, where his head seemed to be firmly lodged up all afternoon.

where do you go with something like this?

first...Warner does have a head problem:

The problem is his head is lodged in his ass and needs to be excavated.

If you have a concussion (i.e. if you're freaking HURT) you TELL your coaching and medical staff! What you DON'T do is keep playing. There's 52 other guys on your roster Kurt. Why don't you try and let them win the freaking game? This is equal to sabotage. What a freaking moron.

secondly...Martz again shows he's got no right being a head coach. He's apparently incapable of maintaining a staff that has the BALLS to say "He can't play".

As well...compounding the matters is another game where Faulk has under 20 touches.

Get a clue Mike. You have arguably the most dynamic player in the NFL. You MIGHT want to try and exploit that ...Mmm kay?

(lol dammit i just realized hawksfan896 used the "head inserted into the rear" reference...doh. I need new material.)

AwwwChrist, I couldn’t agree with you more. Martz should be fired immediately for risking his QB and just plain being a miserable human being, IMO.

LOL, that joke was just too obvious. When I saw the headline "Warner's head", I assumed (no pun intended) that's where the poster was going with it.

WARNERS DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby CryatsalsTeam » Mon Sep 08, 2003 4:31 am

I think It's time for Warner,to take the back seat again, and let Bulger be the STARTER.......What? are the Rams going to wait until the team has a recordof 1-6 or before going to the real starter,inBulger....Warner's glory days are behind him.Martz and Warner both have they're heads up they're BUTTS.Both should get the boot............Faulk should be getting around 25 carries a game........

It occurs to me that if this was Priest Holmes we were talking about here, people would probably say how devoted he was, playing through that for his team, instead of calling him a moron.

mmm..i think that there's an inherited greater responsibility to the team to be forthright about health issues when you're talking about the QB vs. the RB.

I mean after all you have anywhere from 3-5 skill positions that absolutely DEPEND on a QB.

I saw a quick blurb where Martz admitted that he made a mistake by keeping Warner in the game. He said that he wouldn't do it again. Ahhh huh. Whatever there old Mikey. I think Bulger's days are just around the corner.
