does anybody have inside info on the RB situation in denver? i have portis on my team. and it seems like he's been the most productive RB the last couple of weeks. but he's just not getting the chances. my only other RB worth anything is d. staley. i would love to start putting portis in the starting lineup on a permanent basis. also, im thinking of dropping w.green and/or l.gordon... any comments on who i should pick up?

right now the only RB available on most waiver wires worth picking up is Marcel Shipp - the only problem for him is that he probably won't play this week (injured knee) and then Cards have a bye in week 6 so you wouldn't have him available to play for two weeks, but when he comes back look for him to supplant Jones as the starter

I also have Portis and the way it's looking from week to week is that the Bronc's are going to start getting him more touches (around 20 a game) but Anderson and Gary will be the primary backs in 3rd down and goal-line situations - I think that within the next weeks though, Gary will be out of the picture altogther and Shanny will see that he only needs the one-two punch of Portis and Anderson to get the job done - good luck with everything

I know this much, Mike Anderson has had one good week out of 4 ! and the one good week he did have, he was on my bench.
