Rank Defenses for Week 2

some of us didn't draft defenses until late. no biggie, but now we look at week-to-week matchups as a source for sneaky points. let's get a head-start and take a peek at who can help us.

broken into two brackets:

1) good shot at domination
2) good shot, but unspectular
3) good defensive team, but a bad defensive day

here's my attempt--would love to read anyone else's:

1) bills (@jax), dolphins (@nyj), redskins (@atl), raiders (vs. cin),
eagles (vs. ne), giants vs. dal)

2) seahawks (@ari), panthers (@tb), ravens (vs. cle), packers(vs. det), vikings (vs. chi)

3) broncos (@sd), falcons (vs. was), steelers (@ kc), titans (@ind)

a few of those teams from the top 2 brackets are probably out there (i know a couple are in my league), and would be worth a pick-up. i'm sure the broncos, falcons, steelers and titans are on somebody's fantasy team, and should be benched.

Buffalo just went of my FA like 10 minutes ago and I just picked up the Giants. I like both of those picks. Also, how well do you think Minnesota will do against "da bears" They seemed pretty good against the GB for most of the game

i think it will be very hard for the bears to rebound without an established running game, or a steady pocket. to complicate matters, they'll be playing in a loud dome.

minnesota will control the game, but i also don't see the bears rolling over, here. a couple big plays late in the game--after the gap widens and the crowd settles down a little bit--will hurt the defense of minnesota's overall numbers.

lastly, to soften the impact of last week's performance upon the minds of fans everywhere, minnesota played well against a packers team that was genuinely freaked out as they lost their top two receivers...the packers didn't play packers ball, which had at least something to do with their emotional state that afternoon.
