Game of the Week

Postby dave416 » Tue Oct 04, 2005 5:17 pm

What is the game of the week for week 5?

Games not included this week are:
New Orleans at Green Bay
Miami at Buffalo
Chicago at Cleveland
Baltimore at Detroit

Write these games in if one of them is your choice.

The game of the week isn't so clear cut this week. I chose Cincy/JAX for obvious reasons ;-D , but also to get away from the usual Pitt, Philly, and NE games.

Pitt vs. SD. Not only is it very likely a possible play-off preview, but both teams should truly challenge each other, and expose any weaknesses these contenders have.

Tough call for me between Pitt/SD and NE/Atl, but I went with the Monday nighter. Can that rough Steeler defense stop LT2? With Bettis and Staley returning, how many carries will FWP get? Pittsburgh will have had over two weeks to stew about that tough loss at home to New England; how will they respond? Lots of intrige in this one. After the 40+ the Bolts put up on the Champs, I'm anxious to see this one.

how could you not include the two powerhouses of the north divisions? bears @ browns! come on.
no, no, not really. The game I really want to see is the seahawks and rams game. not that either one of these teams appear to be world beaters, but...they had some fun games last year. I'm looking forward to them this year.

Pitt at SD.

Cincinnati at Jacksonville should be good too.
