Jake Delhomme will be Carolina's new quarterback, replacing Rodney Peete just in time to face defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay. Delhomme earned the start after replacing Peete in the second half of Sunday's 24-23 victory over Jacksonville. "It would have been tough not to start him," coach John Fox said. "It was very evident that he sparked our offense."
