Kevin Curtis Going Blind?

Postby BrutallyHuge » Wed Oct 05, 2005 11:49 am

News
Rams wide receiver Kevin Curtis missed two series in the week four loss to the Giants because of vision problems. "My vision just goes blurry," Curtis told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Tuesday. "It's happened before, and usually I just wait, and in about 15-20 minutes, it clears up and my sight's back to normal. I guess they're calling them migraines. I don't think they're concussions. I know where I'm at and everything." Curtis finished the game with six receptions for 78 yards.

Views
Curtis had four receptions for 107 yards when he started in place of Isaac Bruce in the playoff game against the Seahawks back in January. Kevin is expected to fill in for Ike again this week. In other words, Curtis is a quality fantasy play this week despite his vision problems, which don't sound too serious.

Haha funny replies :-P.

Seriously though I think I have the same condition. I get it when I workout if my diet hasn't been pretty good. Basically I do something physically demanding, I feel a little dizzy b/c of lack of blood to the brain, and then my right eye starts to lose sight. It's called an "aura". Mine usually goes away after 5 or 10 minutes, and then I have a huge headache. It would be pretty tough to play through that headache though.
