Too early to start thinking PLAYOFFS?!?

Is it too early to start thinking about playoff match-ups?
I've caught myself looking at that while considering recent trades...and I've been tempted to take some trade that look bad right now, but good during playoff time.

Who do you see out there that we should be going after because of their playoff match-ups?

Wk 15 vs GNB
Wk 16 vs MN
Wk 17 @CLE
...lots of home games and bad run defs (except for DEN).

I start thinking about playoffs matchups in the draft.

I've never missed the postseason.

I don't think about playoffs until they're upon me. I take it game by game. Cause if you start shuffling now thinking that you'll be in a better position come playoff, you'll be on the outside looking in. That is unless your entire league makes the playoffs.

It's never too early to think about the playoffs....

I think about weeks 15 and 16 matchups when I draft, its never too early.

Agreed. Whether you're looking for a good matchup or simply trying to keep your kicker away from blizzards, it's never too early to start looking at the schedule during your league's playoffs.

Definately start thinking about the playoffs. These are the risks that make or break your season. More often than not, it's the teams that have huge breakout/overachieving performaces that take home the title, not the consistent solid ones. But hey, I'm a fan of knowing what I'm going to get, so that's why I get a lot of 2nds and 3rds.

I won my league last year precisely because i scouted the playoff matchups. i had the 3rd best team for sure but i ended up winning... how? because plummer, holt, to, lt, and curtis martin all had incredible matchups in the playoffs. A differecnce between people who play fantasy football and cafe members is that we are the ones who DO check that stuff out this early on. so should you check em out now? Of course.
