does anyone know what happened to eddie on sunday night? his first couple of runs looked halfway decent and then he started running like a sissy again. for no apparent reason. i didnt see him take a monster hit or anything. the few times the camera panned to him on the sidelines, he looked like he was going to cry.

i really dont feel like dealing w/ this stuff all season. any info will be greatly appreciated.

George has turned into a one hit and down kind of player. I haven't seen the fight in him for some time now. I think he got the Antowain Smith disease. I remember watching Smith last year, and honestly, it looked as if he was looking to be tackled.

He has also been playing hurt like his whole career. After while I would think that would wear on a players mental toughness.

eddie is a tough cat but no one can withstand the type of punishment a featured back takes for all of these years (including his nagging injuries he has played through) and still be a top-tier option.

interesting note from the sunday night game - george is the ALL-TIME leader (min 100 games) for carries per game average at 21.6, with curtis martin and eric dickerson following him.

When his YPC drop he gets sulky and I think he starts thinking about next week and how he will do better.

...I got him late in our draft, while buildin my WRs.
He went up against a tough Raider run defense, now Eddie goes against a softer Indy run defense.
I say he dances in the zone this weekend.
If not, "Grab some pine, cause Dunn's goin' in!"
