Well, they haven't said yet. He has cracked ribs, and I'm sure that is not very pleasant. In fact, I'm fairly certain that it's a pretty painful injury. Playing and getting drilled in said ribs would probably be a bad thing.
I haven't heard anything about his status for next week, but I bet it's not all that great.

I've had both broken and cracked ribs and I'm here to tell ya, it hurts worse than getting kicked in the twins with a steel-toed boot!

As a D-Jax owner, I'd like to see someone address more specifically what this means for D-Jax owners. i.e. do I drop him, or do I hold on to him for the playoffs and try to make adjustments in the meantime. What kind of effectiveness can a guy coming off that kind of injury bring come week 15, etc.?
My outlook: The wrong play is to assume Seattle will run to compensate.
Over the course of the game, sure ...maybe. Significantly? No. Seattle has and will always set the run up with the pass. First and foremost.
I think Holmgren won't let this dismay him from letting Hass get the ball into the air. Holmgren's not going to hide Hackett or Joey by running the ball down the Rams throats. He's going to let hass work the clock with Joey and Stevens and Alexander out of the backfield (something that hasn't been done at ALL this year).
Forget Warrick on the outside streaking with his speed. Hass doesn't have the long ball accuracy to accomodate those throws. Frankly, those aren't in our playbook. Hackett's probably getting the start on the outside so Warrick can play the slot and use his speed to drag LBs and safeties out and clear space for Stevens and Joey in his wake. That's just my guess.
Hell, Holmgren may not even have the chance to run it if he wanted to with the distinct possibility of STL getting a 14 point lead sometime in the game. Our secondary has been CRAP this year.

Right there with you, glad I made this huge trade. The thing is now my WR's are so good that Djax is on my bench, so I'm not fretting.
Try TO, Holt, and Horn on for size
Considering Horn is out as well...maybe you should fret.
