ESPN's league mgr sucks

Postby greuloch » Tue Sep 09, 2003 4:43 pm

Hey, just wanted to get opinions - we are doing ESPN league this year, and it is completely USELESS ! Scores constantly changing hours after games, site unavailable too often, features for sorting free agents only work when the site feels like it. Anyone else ? is there any way to get together a group to complain and force them to improve ?

I would say that CBS sportsline is the best. Not the cheapest, but most straightforward displays, easy to search waiver wires, good support.

I am using fantasybowl.com It is pretty decent. They are fixing a few things about the draft from this year that will help it for next year. A few different types of leagues you can join. Some free and some for money.

Yeah we moved our league from Yahoo to ESPN and I'm not impressed at all. I'd rather be on Yahoo since it's free. You pay money you expect an upgrade...but ESPN isn't what I thought it would be.

I have All Star Stats and they are great! A bit pricey, ($149) They claim they can tackle any scoring system, and they back that up! They accomodate our older range scoring system plus a lot of bonuses we have too. My only complaint was that their live scoring was slow, but it's only week 1, so you have to cut them some slack. I highly recommend them.
