Ferguson news

Postby The Borg » Tue Sep 09, 2003 10:39 pm

I'm from Milwaukee, WI. The lastest news is a sprain to the knee and a high ankle sprain. The high ankle sprain is the most severe and could sideline him for a month or more. Packer are courting Freeman. If Javon Walker is a FA, I'd go after him. Especially with Detriot and Arizona being the Packers next two opponents.

walker's value has alot to do with whether the pack can find a decent fill-in WR or at least a decent alternative to freeman since it now seems he is being courted by another team as well. javon will be flagged by opposing D's as the only credible threat.

Don't forget Walls if they play him. With the receivers down Walls and Franks have a chance to get some good looks. Especially with Walls having good hands.

they weren't deep to begin with, and now they have lost their two best receivers. Well, I think Walker is ready to take over the #1 spot. But you are right, Green, Franks, and Walls will probably have big days.
