Worst: I don't have any busts yet, but Plummer in about the 5/6th and Griese in the 12th were not the greatest picks. (We start 2 QBs). This week I had to start Brady and McCown, which turned out good but I don't know what the rest of the season will be like.
Best: Chad Johnson in the 3rd, hes a beast, and paired with Steve Smith from the 7th my receiving core is great.
Worst: Arrington in the 5th & Barlow in the 7th (Mind you I didn't actually choose him. It was my first time doing the live online draft, and I thought that if I had a player selected when the time ran out, I would get him, but instead I was given the highest ranked player at the time, which was Barlow)
Best: CJ in the 3rd & TO in the 2nd. You are probably thinking TO in the 2nd is a no brainer. We had our draft around the same time all that drama between TO, McNabb, & The Eagles was happening. There was talk about TO not playing for half a season, ala McCardell 2004, or even the whole year. When I took him, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE in the draft was laughing/clowning.
My first question, how in the world did you guys get S. Smith in the 7th round????? THat's INSANE!!!!!!!!!! He went at the end of the third round in our league. Which leads me to my worst pick, I actually drafted Djack before him (wasn't horrible, but immediately after the draft i tried to trade him for S. Smith to no avail, woops/oh well, wouldn't have had jurevicius for this week had I selected Smith)
Best pick, Hines Ward in the 4th, Palmer in the 6th, Hasselbeck in the 7th, Colts D and Manning on the wire. AND NOW, not getting the opp to draft Deuce in the first, whew!!
Worst? Can't say. KJ in the 2nd, Burleson in the 4th, Donald Driver in the 5th, Clayton in the 6th, the list goes on and on. Boy did it look good before the season started.
So far I like most of our picks, but quite honestly, since we have a bunch of good ones, only our K Neil Rackers stands out. He has outperformed my best expectations. I did target him as the kicker I wanted, but didn't expect quite these results (mostly expected weeks like this one, which are great all things considered) Other than That: T. Jones in the 8th. LT with the 1st, TO/Caddy with 2nd/3rd all turned out nice tho the jury is out on caddy I think
Joe horn looks to be a disappointment with the injury, as he was a 4th/5th rounder.
Williamson as Mr. Irrelevant, he provided us with a nice score when Horn was pulled last week.
