... and aaron brooks. Did anyone see McPherson Play in the preseason. The guy had all of preseason to pick up NO's supposed "dummied-down" playbook. McPherson would take one look and then break off running. It was terrible. Granted, he's had some time to learn a little, but I don't think he's at all ready for the speed of the NFL, especially since he's been no. 3 qb all year and not getting any reps.

So do the Saints pretty much play desperation football the rest of the year with little to no running game? Not to say that Smith and Stecker will be awful, but without Deuce, it's gonna be tough. I know Deuce went down last year too...how did the Saints fair after that?

well.. stecker came in and had one good game, and one crappy one, and brooks seemed to have some good games with Horn having some good games as well. Unfortunately Horn is also significantly banged up even if he does play.
