Actually he will probably be the 3rd back selected in this years draft behind Reggie Bush and DeAngelo Williams. If you haven't heard of Williams you are getting your notice now. He is the real deal. I'm not saying the rankings I am generating now will hold strong come draft time, but currently Maroney would probably be a mid-1st round pick.

Ohh yeah, I know who Williams is, #20 on Memphis. Very good Back. B-)

Has he recovered fully from the injury? Broken leg or ankle, wasn't it? I thought he'd come out last season if he wasn't hurt.

As far as QBs, I think Marcus Vick will make some noise in the draft in 2 years. He's more accurate than his brother and seems to make better decisions (not forcing things). He's almost the same height/weight/speed, too.

I haven't seen enough of Marcus Vick (no VT games this year) to make an accurate judgement. The character issues are bound to scare some teams away though.

I'm interested to see where you rank Drew Stanton (Mich. St.)... No one really talks about this kid, but he's quietly put together the best passing efficiency rating in the country.... IMO, someone is going to get a steal on this kid in the 2nd or 3rd while everyone trips over themselves to draft Vince Young, Marcus Vick, and Matt Leinart.... IMO, with the possible exception of Leinart, Stanton is the best pure passer coming out in next year's draft, and if I were a GM I would GLADLY pick up Stanton in the early 2nd than Vince Young in the first....

He hasn't been ranked yet, but I am pretty sure he will sneak in at the tail end.

I do like Stanton and think he'll be a solid 2nd or 3rd rounder. He has nice running ability also. However I think a lot of his numbers are part of the spread offense he plays with at Michigan St. Not saying he isn't talented but I wouldn't put him up there with Leinart, Young and Jacobs.

I have finished 28 rankings and have decided not to include Stanton because I think he will be back at Michigan St. next year.
