yahoo rerun stats?

im a rookie commish in a yahoo league. What does it mean when it says i can choose to have stats rerun. It a commish option and it says it will talke 48 hours.

Basically, Yahoo lets the commissioner change what scoring categories your league uses, and how many points each category is weighted (ie how many passing yards equals 1 point), for a few weeks, even after the fantasy season has begun. You only need to rerun the stats if you change the scoring system after games have been played, because that would change how many points each team scored in week 1, and might change the h2h results.

And you really shouldn't mess with that at this point, because everyone's been locked in and set their roster based on the original scoring system. If you haven't touched the scoring system, you can ignore the update stats option in the commish tools.
