problem in league...any suggestions

ok this is kinda long....

This guy is the duece owner

In my money league we had a situation. Last week a guy dropped tatum bell. I am a mike anderson owner.

This other owner didnt check his team until late sunday and realized he had bye's going on, so he picked up a few people.

Next he sees bell put up a big game and also wants him, so he drops moore from minny.

The next day monday, i come home from work and see a post on the message board (at 4:30, well after Duece is gone) saying that he accidently dropped moore and meant to drop heath miller (who he had picked up to play on the bye week).

Well the commish (his brother) says that he had contacted he had contacted him sunday night when this happened, but no post had been made for the rest of the league.

The commish overturns the drop/adds and gives him bell and moore

I was next on the waivers and missed bell because of this.

Was this fair? and what do you guys think I should do if anything?

Private message the commish and ask for an explanation.

There is no reason for add/drops to get reversed just because "oops, I didn't mean to do that".

If the commish doesn't do something about it, I would point it out to everyone in the league. Not in a cry baby sort of way, just that you think that the actions were wrong. Let everyone else draw their own conclustions about the details. It will be apparent to them and you may get some support from other owners.

In that scenario, the commish is more likely to rescend his actions.

I don't usually buy the "oops" explanation. Most sites I have ever used asks for confirmation of a transaction, which immediately negates the chance of doing something on accident.

Call BS. If the guy played Heath Miller and he had no other TE because of the bye, it's pretty obvious that he's lying. Either the commish is too blind/dumb to see this, or more likely, he is in cahoots with his brother.

If that's the case, sucks for you, but your league is run by unethical pricks.

Start with the PM to the commish. Politely ask him to forward to you his brother's Sunday night e-mail with the date/time stamp on it.
If he can't/won't produce this evidence to support what is otherwise a he said-he said argument, and the move is not rescinded, then you're dealing with unethical people and should find a new league next year.
