wait--i mean, i follow the train of thought that bennett will not do well, but he's just as likely to succeed.

moe williams is the starter right now. he's fine. chapman isn't doing poop because he's a little banged up. smith is still learning the playbook and may struggle to emerge before mid-season.

well, mid-season is when they're expecting bennett, the proclaimed official starter to return. if he's running right now, he could be making cuts and doing game-drills in four weeks. he knows the offense and is 1st in line. that could be huge, given the potential for success behind the daunte/randy juggernaut.
