Thoughts on Tony Fisher...

Postby CeeLoGreen » Tue Oct 11, 2005 8:46 pm

I picked him up in my extremely deep 12 team league...Just wanted to get some thoughts on Ahman Green and whether Fisher will see some time. Also, would he be worth keeping around barring another Ahman Green injury if Green does come back after the bye week.

I'm sure he will step into Davenport's old role of taking the carries in the middle of the field. He is obviously now the backup if something happens to Green.

Green Bay's line is pretty poor, so unless it's a good matchup, he might not be very good anyway. But, if it's a deep league and you're hurting for RB depth, he could be useful.

Before the injuries to Green and Davenport, Fisher was primarily a 3rd down back. He will keep that role, along with adding carries from Najeh.
