Thoughts on These Back Up RBs?

Postby Fireball Express » Wed Oct 12, 2005 8:40 pm

I love to fill empty roster space with RBs. I try to grab as many back up RBs as I can throughout the season b/c they could be a goldmine with one twist of an ankle or such. What are your thoughts on Lamar Gordon, Anthony Thomas and Jarret Payton.

Will Philly start pounding the ball more with Gordon?

Will JJ's ankle sprain give A-Train a shot at being Dallas' feature back?

Is Chris Brown overdue for some IR time? Could Payton be productive if given the starting role.

What order do you put these guys in?

Tyson Thompson has surpassed Anthony Thomas on the depth chart... As evidenced by his 20 carries last week.

Just thought I'd let you know.

he was inactive for last weeks game. He can't pick up the blocking schemes from what I've heard. That's a big deal with any team, but it's probably the most important thing with Parcells when it comes to a backup.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks!

Barber's also in the dog house for bouncing outside on an inside run. Yeah, the Tuna's strict.

Barber would rip it up for them if only Dallas would let him. He is more of an outside runner so whats wrong with bouncing it outside when nothing is in the middle?

Back to the subject. I think due to C. Brown's injury history, Payton could be in the fold. I thought Gordon would be the goalline back, but that hasn't panned out. Anthony Thomas has just been passed by Larry Allen on the depth chart.
