Now that Griese is out for the year with a torn ACL (see Rotoworld and the Buc's team site message boards), how do y'all think Chris Simms will do in his place?
Well - he has a week to prepare, then a completely depleated SF secondary will make for a nice warm up game for Simms. After that though it goes downhill very very quickly for him in terms of matchups:
I'd have to think things will be pretty much the same. I don't expect improvement, and the only change I think is really plausible would be clayton taking a bigger role.... and thus galloway's role diminishing. Run game should be similar I think.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks! (Thanks Leber) AIM is like multiplayer notepad
i watched the games he played in last year and he was unimpressive. i believe he is definitely a downgrade from griese. as mentioned, it will most likely lower galloway's stock and increase claytons. the bucs will most likely stick with the running game and throw only as needed. this might be a serious problem for their post-season run.
