Lets just hope that he'll be ok. The Hammer is a hard man ... if anybody can take a lead pipe to the head, it'd be him.

I'd consider myself lucky these days to get hit with a pipe on the head.

Seems like most of the time people will just pop caps.

In my first year of FF I played in a league with individual defenders and I drafted Joey Porter of the Steelers. The next morning I log on and see his news: News:"Joey Porter was shot in the butt early this morning at a nightclub. Apparently there was a scuffle and someone driving by fired a couple of shots."
Analysis: "Porter out 6-8 weeks. Anal injury."

That was both scary and funny as heck when I first read it. The first and the last time someone on my roster had some big butt problems.

I don't find this funny at all...any time this happens to any person, it is a horrible thing. I just don't understand why people are such idiots as to get into arguments over probably nothing. Even if it is over something relevant, why can't people just talk through it like adults instead of acting like animals?

Anyway, I hope that he is OK and can maybe come back to play at some point this year. ;-D

It was a street sign and he is in the ICU. He has a cracked skull, blod clot, brain tissue bruising, and a broken hand.
